The size of your backup-drive is chosen when you buy BullGuard and can range from 100MB to 5 Gigabyte. You can always upgrade your backup-drive with more space to suit your current needs.
All subscribers get 100MB for free.
Secure servers
Your files and documents are stored on our custom built backup servers which are placed in hardened, temperature and humidity controlled bunkers 25 meters above sea-level in an earthquake free zone. These first line servers are backed up on identical second line servers placed in a separate geographical location with 300 Km (186 Miles) separation.
Encrypted data transfer
All uploads and downloads to our servers are done using secure 128 bit SSL transfer, ensuring you full data-integrity.
Smart file-transfer
If a file is already backed up, it will of course not waste your internet connection bandwidth by transferring it again. A file will only be uploaded if it is not already on the backup-drive, or if it has been changed since the last backup. This minimizes the use of your internet connection.
Automatic scheduling
Automatic scheduling of your backup ensures that your data is safe at all times.
Remote access
With your online backup drive you can access your personal files from any computer connected to the internet - with or without BullGuard installed.
