SensiveGuard comprises a powerful network firewall and a real-time file-guard. It protects your PC against
viruses, spyware, Trojans, and hackers. It intelligently detects whether a network or file access is initiated
by user through a keyboard or mouse in the local computer and takes appropriate security action. This
intelligence enhances security as malicious software and hackers operate in the background while users
operate using the keyboard or mouse.
SensiveGuard is license free for personal use.

SensiveGuard checks every inbound and outbound network access for policy compliance, suspends and
warns on every access in real-time that is not allowed or denied explicitly by policies. Security policies can
be set regarding program identities, network protocols, and remote network address. Network address can
be specified in a group (network zone). Three address groups are created by default: any-remote group,
local-network group, and the Internet group. Customer address group can be created to include any IP
addresses or subnets.
SensiveGuard can protect files from being written, deleted, copied, and read in real-time. By default, it
suspends and warns on every write or delete on executable files by any program with Internet connection.
User can add sensitive private folders and files under protection that can not be read, copied, written, or
deleted by hacker remotely or virus in the background. SensiveGuard does not interfere with normal
network file sharing.
SensiveGuard is the first security software that can detect whether or not an operation is initiated by user
through a keyboard or mouse in the local computer and apply different security policies. A network or file
access can be allowed when it is initiated by user, while the same access without user initiation can be
denied. For example, a web browser can be allowed to access websites when it is initiated by user and be
denied the access otherwise, effectively stopping many ad-ware and spyware from secrectly sending or
retrieving information with the Internet.
SensiveGuard uniquely identifies every program with digital ID technology and takes security action
according to program identity. A network or file access can be allowed for a specific program while the
same access can be denied for other programs. For example, the Microsoft outlook program can be
allowed to send or receive emails but denied access to websites, preventing Spam emails from
automatically sending or receiving data with malicious websites.
SensiveGuard suspends every network and file access in real-time that's not allowed or denied explicitly by
policies and warns user about the access. User can approve or deny the access, and apply the same
answer to the same access in the future without further warning.
SensiveGuard requires no user configuration after installation. The built-in default policies will start
protecting the PC and allow most common network and file accesses. Additional policies are created
dynamically and automatically when user approves or denies an access. User can change policies anytime
in a graphical user interface.
Virus or spyware often gets into the computer by exploiting security holes in networked programs such as
the Internet Explorer and the Outlook email program and installs itself in the computer. Such malicious
program may simply reset home page, direct requests to malicious websites, pop up commercials
constantly, or more dangerously monitor your keyboard entries, steal passwords, steal email addresses, or
delete files. Anti-virus software is the most popular solution. However, it is often an after-fact solution. Anti-
virus software can detect a virus only after it has become well known and the software has been updated to
include the virus signature, which is often too late for many computers that have been affected. And, anti-
virus software can never prevent your "curious neighbors" or hackers from login into your computer remotely
and installing virus or spyware. SensiveGuard is complementary to anti-virus software that can prevent
unauthorized access to files in real-time. It depends on detection of malicious operations rather than
software signature.
SensiveGuard is the only firewall to have real-time file protection. Security policies can be created to
suspend and warn on access (write, delete, or read) on any files under specified conditions. A file security
policy contains file specification of file types, a list of folders, and command (write, delete, read). A file
security policy also contains actions to take against the access under various conditions such as user
initiation, program identity, and whether or not the program has Internet connection. |
