Jetico Personal Firewall protects your computer from unwanted hacker's attacks from outside as well as from malicious programs "living" secretly inside your computer's memory and hard drive. Three levels of protection are included: low-level network packets filtering, application-level network events filtering and filtering of user-level process activity. Jetico Personal Firewall checks every packet that comes in or out of your computer. Option "Auto Best fit" was added to the "View" menu and minor corrections in user interface were made. Occasional crash of the firewall filtering module on multi-processor computers is fixed.
System tray firewall indication is fixed.
Occasional crash on hyperthreading and SMP computers is fixed. Configuration Wizard now correctly recognizes broadcast addresses as firewall dynamic variables. The firewall behaviour at system shutdown is corrected.
