Organize, email and store your sensitive or private data with CryptoNote. CryptoNote allows you to put several "notes" and/or attachments in a single file for emailing or archiving. For example, store all of your Internet accounts or Microsoft Word documents in a single CryptoNote file. Create a personal diary, attach or embed graphics, webpages or any kind of data. Email your CryptoNote files at the click of a button. CryptoNote "piggy-backs" onto your existing email system - there is no complicated configuration and it works with all email systems.

CryptoNote is also a document container or document archiver, if you like. You can add any number of files as "attachments" to your CryptoNote files, and easily edit or view them by just clicking. Many people use this feature to organize their documents in CryptoNote files. Using the Notes feature you can make comments about the attached files, for example. You can email your CryptoNote files at the click of a button. It doesn't matter what email program you and your recipient(s) are using because the CryptoNote file is sent as an attachment to your email. So it doesn't matter if you are using Outlook Express, for example, and your recipients are using Mozilla Thunderbird, Outlook or Eudora - it will work with any email program that can handle attachments.

How it works

Let's say you need to send an email with several attachments. All must be encrypted, including the email body text. You use Outlook but the recipient uses Mozilla Thunderbird. Not a problem! Just open CryptoNote, type your email body and attach the files. Then you just click the "Send email" button and it opens a new Outlook email with the CryptoNote file attached. The recipient downloads CryptoNote (free download) and can view your encrypted email.

Or let's say you are a network admin. You have several license keys for the applications your company uses, and they need to be kept private but you need to access them from PC's when you install an app. Create a CryptoNote on a network share to store the keys by right-clicking in Windows Explorer and select "New/CryptoNote File". Open the new file and add your license keys. From then on, you can access this file from the other PCs as needed. The license keys are safe and secure.
