EldoS AutoSaveXL 2.0.0.28
Wednesday, 23 March 2005
Do you need to

make your data safe if Microsoft® Excel™ crashes?
secure your data against operator error or virus evil action?
keep track of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet changes?
backup Microsoft Excel files automatically?
AutoSave XL is a solution for you. This small plugin for Microsoft Excel will save a copy of the workbook periodically to the specified place (be it your hard disk or network storage).

AutoSave XL was designed to replace built-in autosave add-in and provide extra features such as saving the document without asking extra questions, keeping the specified number of revisions for each document, easy recovery of any document revision.

Download security software: EldoS AutoSaveXL 2.0.0.28

Currently AutoSave XL offers the following features:

Possibility to specify how many backup copies of the file is kept;
An option to save the file over it's current version (backup previous version of course) or to create a copy of the file marked with time of save operation;
Backup copies can be saved to the same folder where the file resides or to some specific folder;
A handy dialog to restore the necessary version of the file;
Separate configuration for every file or default settings.

With AutoSave XL recovering an old edition of the file will not be a nightmare anymore. And, the last but not the least, you will be able to review and compare different revisions of the file at the same time by easily opening them in two windows of MS Excel.

AutoSave XL works with MS Excel 2000, MS Excel XP, MS Excel 2003.
