Panda Software has updated the www.infectedornot.com web page, giving it a new look and adding new tools.
This
web page offers users tools for detecting active malware on computers.
Thanks to the new detection and scanning technologies developed by
Panda Software, it is possible to detect over a million malicious codes
that could be running on the memory in under a minute.

has published two security updates for its Mac OS X operating systems,
versions 10.3.9 and 10.4.9 or later, both for workstations and servers.

Email scams, like false lottery prizes, fake job offers or '419' frauds ('Nigerian Letter') are on the rise.

Sun
has reported some vulnerabilities in Mozilla 1.7 for Solaris, which
could be exploited by malicious users to compromise computers.

PandaLabs
warns of the appearance of several malicious codes that are using
MySpace pages to spread. In some cases, these pages have not been
specifically created to spread malware, but have been modified to serve
this malicious purpose by exploiting a vulnerability or design flaw
without the legitimate user knowing.
