The software has the option to shred the original file after it has been enciphered. Shredding a file means writing over the contents with meaningless data. ShyFile encodes your text (txt- and html-files) and packs it into an extra file that is to be attached to an outgoing email or uploaded to a website. The recipient thereof does not need to have ShyFile installed to be able to decode since any Internet browser will open it and prompt the user to enter the matching key phrase before decoding it.

Now there are many types of data security software,but some of them like types of disguising,hiding,or securing software are usually not secure enough,and easy to be cracked. The securing of these software types is not aming at the data,but at the operation of the data. My advice is that we need to save the important data with encryption,and you do not need to worry that someone else can take your encryption files away,even if thay can,what they can see is just clobbers.
WinRAR and WinZIP can also encrypt,then why use other encryption software?WinRAR and WinZIP can indeed encrypt data,however,because they are so prevalent that a lot of software can crack them now,it is not a very secure way to secure data with WinRAR or WinZIP.

CryptoExpert Lite is a free encryption software. It uses an on-the-fly encryption system to encrypt and decrypt data. Data is stored in the encrypted form, but when it is requested by any application, it gets decrypted on-the-fly.
Conversely, unencrypted data to be stored is encrypted instantaneously and then stored. The CryptoExpert system mounts a volume file to create a "virtual drive" that appears to applications and users like any other physical drive.
Any data that the user attempts to write to this drive is intercepted by CryptoExpert, encrypted, and written to the volume file. Attempts to read from this volume are also intercepted, and the relevant data is read by CryptoExpert from the volume file, decrypted, and presented to the application trying to read the data.
Dismounting the CryptoExpert "virtual drive" ensures that data cannot be read from or written to it. All data is stored encrypted within the "container".
As far as windows is concerned, there is a 'new' disk that has suddenly appeared. When the program exists or the volume is unmounted, the file system stays encrypted and there is absolutely no way anyone can recover/get the data without the pass phrase

FineCrypt allows you to create encrypted self-extracting archives which can be decrypted without it. FineCrypt lets you encrypt files, directories and whole directory trees using a password or a key.
You can encrypt several files either into single encrypted archive or into different encrypted files. With FineCrypt archives you can work in the same way as you work with zip archives: you can add to or remove files from archive , decrypt desired files, and modify file "in-place" not removing it from archive.
With FineCrypt you can create encrypted and non-encrypted self-extracting executable files. You can send such files to people who haven't FineCrypt on theirs computers and they will be able to decrypt this file.

CryptoExpert is simple to use on the fly encryption software. It creates encrypted virtual disks and these disks are visible as usual disks with drive letters (for example, G:, H:, Z:, i.e. with any drive letter that is not used by other system devices). It uses AES encryption to protect data on this drive.
The data stored on a CryptoExpert disk is stored in the container file. A container is an usual file (but strongly encrypted), so it is possible to backup a container, move or copy it to other disk (CD-ROM or network, for instance) and continue to access your encrypted data using CryptoExpert. Any free drive letter (or choosen letter) in the system may be used to mount and to open an encrypted file-container for access.
When the virtual disk is opened, you can read and write data as if it were a conventional removable disk. You can do anything with a CryptoExpert virtual drive that you can do with a normal hard drive.

CryptoCrat (Formerly Advanced Encrypting Archiver) creates a single encrypted archive containing confidential files and directories.
The archive is password protected. You can also create self-extracting compressed archives. It uses the Blowfish encryption algorithm with a 448 bit key.

EndCryptor protects traversing data via encryption.
