Microsoft is reported to be considering including its Infocard user authentication technology in the next version of Explorer.
According to Microsoft sources quoted by Network World magazine, the software could now turn up in the major version 7.0 overhaul of the browser, due out next year.

Microsoft admitted that the Zotob worm and similar worms could also affect certain Windows XP computers in a security advisory issued on Tuesday. Computers running XP Service Pack 1 with a certain configuration were at risk. Previously it was thought that only Windows 2000 systems were vulnerable. |

The companies specializing on questions of network safety warn of occurrence on the Internet new Trojan horse, which was called name Hesive.
The harmful program Hesive penetrates to the computer through the hole in component Jet Database Engine, which is used in Microsoft Office and, in particular, in Microsoft Access. There is it at opening by a victim of the file of a database generated by special image in format MDB, the link on which, for example, can be sent on email or is placed on a website on the Internet.
